PDXLan
PDXLan is one of those "you've got to see it to believe it experiences.
The subject of a lan in principal is simple. A varying size of people playing games together while being connected with a Local server handling the communications.
That's the easy part. (well, ask the PDX admins and it's not easy at all)
But.. what PDX brings that others cannot is an in depth look at emerging tech. Both hard and soft wares. The big players in the PC industry are always at hand to give a glimpse at the newest (often unreleased, Beta, Confidential et, al) technologies. And PDX helps facilitate that.
They also are real gamers.. all of them.
